1st place in the national top of Keller Williams in February / 17

For me, who started my activity in the real estate business exactly 1 year ago, obtaining this award among 1200 real estate consultants from Keller Williams Portugal is indeed a reason for pride and gratification, with special thanks to the fantastic KW team, starting with brokers of KW Pr1me!

But whenever we are confronted with the unexpected success of someone, perennial or transient, the first question that comes to us is, "How did you get it?", "What's the secret?" .

The truth is that, as a rule, success is the result of a formula that aggregates several variables and is the balance between them that results. I tried from the first moment to establish a plan, because 30% of the success of any project starts there: planning.

For this I began by assimilating the initial formation, and in the Keller Williams this particular one is taken especially seriously. I then defined a medium- and long-term strategy that went through:

  • Focus on the establishment of a broad network of partnerships and contacts in strategic areas - focusing on the added value of each one in terms of long-term objectives: attracting foreign investors, Millennials generation, expatriates, etc. etc.
  • Bet on Digital Marketing in all its aspects: personal website, blogs, SEO, social networks, e-letters, etc., in a focused and targeted to the target audience.
  • Bet on advertising in all its aspects: online, direct-mail, proximity, etc.
  • Reinforce personal branding in a way that is consistent with my personal profile, emphasizing my core competency: establishing personal relationships based on trust, credibility, and customer focus.
  • Commitment, work, hard work and more work still ...

All this without neglecting every detail in terms of the quality of production / presentation of marketing.

But even when we think we are doing everything right and success does not knock us out (I will not tell you here the incredible disappointments and setbacks with which Murphi's Law has pitched my way for almost a year) there is only one answer:

  • Learn from mistakes and realign direction permanently to improve effectiveness and focus more.
  • We surround ourselves with a team of professionals of excellence in all areas relevant to our work.
  • Persist and further strengthen investment in the areas that bring us personal visibility and the product to be promoted: training, trade fairs, conferences, events, etc.

In short, if we are guided by a compass that shows us the direction, then we can not doubt or stop, we just have to persist, undoubtedly, focused and committed and believing in ourselves to the maximum ... because above all the manuals in teach, there is a secret:

BELIEVE INTENSELY IN SUCCESS!
