Tomorrow, May 14, we celebrate Red Day at Keller Williams, which means Renew, Energize and Donate and which is our annual day of service for the community.
Every year, on the 2nd Thursday of May, we celebrate this day by making a difference in the lives of others. Contributing to improving the communities we serve is at the heart of the Keller Williams culture. This is a way for KW associates to “return” to the communities and places where they live and work, a part of what they received from them. This year there will be more than 100,000 members worldwide participating in Keller Williams' RED Day, as well as in Portugal in the cities of Braga, Cascais, Famalicão, Lisbon and Porto.
In Lisbon, KW Ábaco's real estate consultants will participate in the reconstruction of the gardens and outdoor spaces of CERCI (Cooperative of Education and Rehabilitation of Citizens with Disabilities), a reference entity in the scope of social inclusion.
In Cascais, the KW Pr1me volunteer network will support the CERCICA (Cooperative for the Education and Rehabilitation of Disabled Citizens of Cascais), through the sale of magic fireflies in banks abroad and the improvement of some green spaces of the association, as well as work in the field of production of biological aromatic plants and tasks in the ornamental plant production nursery.
In Braga, KW Business volunteering will go to the organization Habitat for Humanity Portugal , where they will take care of the completion of a family home, with the aim of contributing to the well-being of a family.
In Famalicão, the project involves rebuilding a home for a needy family, identified in conjunction with Social Security.
As for Porto, its members will participate in the recovery of the Casa do Vale facilities, which belongs to the Crescer Ser association.
For Eduardo Garcia e Costa and Nuno Ascensão , Regional Owners of Keller Williams Portugal, “this initiative is an example not only of the generosity of our real estate consultants, but a reflection of the company's principles and values, common around the world. With RED Day, we hope to get closer to the different communities in which KW operates. ”
