RED Day is a special day for Keller Williams around the world. Once a year, on the second Thursday of May, its more than 183,000 associates stop their real estate activity and dedicate themselves to volunteering. RED Day embodies the commitment and generous spirit that its Associates have to give back to the community where they work and live, a part of what they receive from it.
Making a difference in the lives of others and improving their communities is at the heart of Keller Williams Culture and the motto for this day is: Renew, Energize and Donate.
Over the years, a growing number of members of the KW family and friends have participated in this extraordinary event, participating in a wide range of projects, dedicating their time to renovating and dynamizing the neighborhoods in which they are inserted.
RED Day's initiatives cover the full range of activities: from home reconstruction, renovation of local parks, benefiting schools and community centers, blood donation and much more. The projects are chosen by each Market Center individually and independently, based on the needs or needs of their community.
RED Day was created in 2009 and is held in honor of Mo Anderson, the vice chairman of the board at Keller Williams Realty, in recognition of his leadership in guiding the company's culture.
From the reconstruction of degraded spaces, the remodeling of worn-out areas and even the reforestation of burnt areas, these will be some of the volunteer actions that KW associates will make happen throughout the country.

These actions took place from the north to the south of the country from Braga, to Porto, passing through Vila Nova de Gaia, Famalicão, Coimbra, Leiria and Lisbon and also through Abóboda, Almada, Oeiras, Cascais, Portimão and Alcantarilha. In the Autonomous Region of Madeira an action also took place in the city of Funchal.
