The 6th edition of the Portuguese Real Estate and Tourism Exhibition, will take place on the weekend of the 12th to the 14th of May 2017, at the Exhibition Park of the Port of Versailles in Paris and is organized by the Franco Chamber of Commerce Portuguese.
Keller Williams Portugal is once again present, with the contribution of the largest team of real estate consultants ever, from different areas of Portugal: KW Pr1me, KW Flash, KW Area, KW Select, KW Somos, etc. and I'm here too!
This year SITPP has a record number of more than 200 exhibitors, occupying an exhibition area of 6,000 m². The organization hopes to "exceed 20 thousand visitors", which "would also be a record", since last year 17,255 people visited this fair.
This fair is an excellent opportunity to attract foreign investment to Portugal, either by French buyers (looking for our climate, security, quality of life. As well as benefiting from the tax regime of non-habitual residents), or Portuguese expatriates working in a of the wealthiest European economies and which have greater purchasing power than the other Portuguese.
But this fair is also one of the most important in terms of promoting Portuguese tourism in French lands.
The balance is made with numbers and these are convincing:
- Since the first edition, in 2012, the Portuguese Real Estate and Tourism Exhibition in Paris has been responsible for "a volume of real estate sales in excess of 1,400 million euros" and, this year, expects "to exceed 1,500 million euros".
- The number of French tourists visiting Portugal continues to grow and it is estimated that more than 2 million have already done so.
- More than 50,000 French people chose Portugal as their first or second home, benefiting from the status of Non-Habitual Resident and the associated tax advantages.
