Leceia é uma pequena pertencente à freguesia de Barcarena, situada num dos pontos mais altos de Oeiras, com uma excelente vista sobre o vale da ribeira de Barcarena, o restante concelho e o rio Tejo. Conhecida pelo seu passado que remonta ao Eneolítico, hoje Leceia, é um lugar cuja traça urbana é fundamentalmente constituída por moradias, sendo que recentemente nasceram novos loteamentos, estando outros já licenciados, para construção na chamada Leceia de Cima. 

Points of interest:

• Castro Eneolítico de Leceia - Discovered in 1878, it is one of the most important archaeological sites in Portugal and Europe. Many of the objects discovered there are on display at Fábrica da Pólvora;
• Church of Nossa Senhora da Piedade - Built in 1761, this small church, almost a chapel, is covered with tiles with religious motifs and is dedicated to the Lord Jesus of Poverty and Our Lady of Piety;
• Visconde de Leceia Basic School - Public school that teaches the 1st cycle of basic education. Has ATL;
• Oeiras International School - Located in Barcarena, but just 1 km from Leceia, is the international private school that teaches the 1st cycle.In the vicinity there is another space of the OIS with the remaining schooling cycles;
