The 9&Meio Oeiras Golf Restaurant, as its name suggests, is located at the Clube do Campo de Golfe and serves the respective players, as well as visitors in general.
With Chef Carlos Lourenço in the kitchen and Ana Fidalgo coordinating the table service, this small restaurant, with 96 seats, is the gateway to Oeiras Golf & Residence. Located at Club Oeiras Golf, it serves golfers, as well as all those attracted by the magnificent view that extends from the golf course to the sea, and by Portuguese-inspired food with a "twist" from the Chef.
The space is informal and relaxed, divided between the room inside the golf club and the splendid terrace, where the open view and the greenery of the green invite you to enjoy some snacks and a good drink. The wine cellar stands out, with a special focus on Quinta da Lapa wines.
Open daily from 8am to 7:30pm, the restaurant only offers lunch and light meals, with a set menu plus 3 or 4 dishes of the day. There is an Executive Menu for €12.5, including starter, main course, drink, dessert and coffee, and, in general, prices are accessible to all budgets.
From excellent quality meats, regional Portuguese-inspired food to a simple burger or salmon wrap, all dishes are prepared with the extra attention of Chef Carlos Lourenço and a "twist" that highlights his passion for gastronomy. The dishes of the day vary considerably, but remain faithful to regional Portuguese cuisine: Cod à Brás, Venison Stew, Lizards or Abanicos with Migas, Rice with Gizzards, Sausage rolled with Lombard cabbage, Octopus or Cod à Lagareiro, Cod cooked with Grain, Spaguetti alle Gamberetto, etc.
When the mild climate allows it, the charcoal grill becomes an additional attraction for tasting meat and fish dishes, especially excellent meat from Uruguay or Argentina, a good Angus steak, or grilled sardines.
For those looking to simply socialize and enjoy good moments of leisure, the bar service is an excellent option. Accompanying the drinks, there is a variety of delicious salads and snacks: prawns à la guilho, clams à Bulhão Pato, Pica pau, scrambled eggs with farinheira, sushi, cheese or sausage boards, the delicious simple or toasted Alentejo bread, fried cuttlefish and an appetizing dish of snails accompanied by the house beer, Budweiser. If you prefer, order one of the several Gins available.
The restaurant regularly organizes Wine Tastings, an event that allows you to discover excellent Portuguese wines, which can be accompanied by a selection of cheeses or sausages. Accepts reservations for group lunches or dinners (€25 per person), whether for a simple wine tasting or for special celebrations. If necessary, the establishment can open during special hours, making itself available exclusively for group events.
