Two Aces Up the Sleeve - A winning hand to end 2025 and start 2026

December 2025. January 2026. Two months, two aces revealed, two "Top Monthly Billing" awards among 3000 consultants at KW Portugal.

Two Aces Up the Sleeve - A winning hand to end 2025 and start 2026

In a world obsessed with conveniences and shortcuts, there is something fortuitous about achieving the same exceptional result twice in a row. But if there's one lesson that poker teaches those who have played for a long time, it's that: no one chooses the cards they are dealt, only how they play them.

Being distinguished as the No.1 Consultant of KW Portugal for two consecutive months is like "showing at the table" a pair of aces. Other players might think: "They're lucky!" Those who know the game understand that: no one gets lucky two months in a row in a market as volatile as real estate... unless, behind the luck, there's something more.

In Poker, this hand is called Pocket Aces, and the probability of being dealt this pair is about 0.45%. In real estate among 3,000 colleagues, the probability is even lower. What these two months show is a winning hand, yes. But I didn't build it alone. I am the one holding the cards, but it was my clients who shuffled them. It was my Market Center, KW Sol Oeiras, and the team working behind the scenes who dealt them. And it was the market that gave the license to play them this time.

Because here is the truth that the poker metaphor hides: even with four aces in hand, it is possible to lose. I have lost hands in the past. I have faced challenges where the final result did not honor the expectation. And it is those defeats, not these victories, that taught me to value every ace that appears on the table for what it truly is: a loan of others' trust, not an acquired right.

The winning hand is not arrogance. It is gratitude translated into method:

♠️ The Ace of Strategy: Each property positioned with precision, knowing that strategy only works when we respect the pace of families.
♥️ The Ace of Empathy: Technology is a tool, but the decision to buy or sell a house is emotional... and I accompany that vulnerability, never exploiting it.
♦️ The Ace of Negotiation: Knowing when to advance, when to retreat, and when to simply be grateful for being at the table.
♣️ The Ace of Consistency: The humblest of all. This pair of aces is the continuation of a 7-year leadership journey, reminding me that tomorrow the cards may change, and the true merit is being prepared to play well even when the hand is less generous.

My invitation: Whether you are thinking of selling or buying a property, seek someone who does not rely on luck but respects the rules of the game. In real estate, as in poker, those who think they win alone are the first to leave empty-handed.

I prefer to play with humility. And for now, with much gratitude, I show my aces.
